This is a tender exercise for the management of Ongar Business Centre via a concessions contract.

It articulates how we will achieve better outcomes for Essex and secure the ambitions set out in the Vision for Essex. Our ambition, at the end of this period, is for Essex to be the best local authority in the country.
Ongar Business Centre ('the Centre') is a 15,000 sq ft office building owned freehold by Essex County Council ('ECC', 'the Authority').
The Centre supports ECC's Organisation Strategy 2017-21, aiming to "enable Essex firms in high-growth sectors to consolidate and expand, by providing advice and increasing business space".
The Centre is currently managed by a third party. In January 2020, the Centre was 94% occupied by floorspace / 92% occupied by units.
The current agreement for management of the Centre is due to expire on 31 April 2021. ECC's Sustainable Growth Directorate is therefore issuing a tender to secure a new longer-term agreement with a service provider to manage the Centre on its behalf.
The tender will be run via ECC's e-sourcing platform, opening Monday 11th October 2020;
Your tender submission must be submitted to the Authority electronically by publishing through this ITT CO0015 Ongar Business Centre at https://www.proactisplaza.com, using RFX REQ1000120, not later than 12 noon on 11/11/2020.
Additional information: The tender will be open Monday 12th October. All messages and contact with potential bidders will be via ECC's e-sourcing platform only.
