Service Provision of Cleaning Services for Council Housing communal areas of blocks of flats

1.1 Lancaster City Council ("the Client") invites Tenders from suitably qualified organisations for the provision of a cleaning services for council housing flat communal areas.

1.2 The core service currently includes:

• There are 111 blocks of flats within the Council Housing stock, comprising of 3 High-rise, 105 Low-rise and 22 deck-access blocks of flats. The blocks are located in Lancaster, Morecambe, Heysham, and Carnforth.

• Tenders will be sought in 2 Lots:

1. Mainway; comprising 3 High Rise blocks, 11 Low Rise Blocks and 4 Deck access blocks; on a weekly cleaning frequency.

2. The rest of the district; comprising 94 Low Rise Blocks and 18 deck Access blocks; on a monthly cleaning frequency .
