In July 2022, the NMC published new standards for NMC recordable post-registration qualifications. The new NMC standards are core standards, applicable to all fields of practice; they do not differentiate nor provide what is specifically required to prepare the nurses in what they need to know and be able to do that is specific to their field of practice.
HEE are looking to support the education and practice of those nurses preparing to lead and manage nurse-led services in a community setting, and to work at an advanced level of practice within a specific field of practice.
