West Mercia Energy (WME) is a public sector owned buying organisation jointly owned by Shropshire Council, Herefordshire Council, Telford & Wrekin Council and Worcestershire County Council. WME is established as a joint committee under the Local Government Act 1972.
WME offers energy procurement and management on behalf of its Owning Authorities and a number of other Local Authorities and outside public bodies.
