The scope for this procurement process is to establish a framework agreement with a small number of companies covering fully volumetric category 1 offsite manufacturing and onsite techniques that provide alternatives to traditional house-building methods to include the development of small to large sites. The framework will include the following material genres:
Light gauge steel frame (LGS) - factory built under a quality-controlled environment & delivered as a complete unit.
Cross laminated timber (CLT) - factory built under a quality-controlled environment, delivered part complete to site, external facades add after assembly.
The framework will combine a supply only contract, using our own resources and experience (in house or via existing third-party contractors) to manage the modular build on site. Also, the option of a turnkey solution including manufacture, supply, installation, and construction services.
