The Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA) is a leading member of National Water Safety Forum (NWSF) which ran a successful 'Respect the Water' campaign last year using funding gained through the Trinity House Fund.
For 2023/24 this funding is not available therefore the MCA plans to provide limited sponsorship to allow the NWSF to carry out activity to promote the important Call, Tell, Throw message. NWSF has ministerial support and aims to halve all accidental drownings in the UK by 2026.
