Length of contract 12 weeks or contractor's alternative proposal. This period is to include for planning, procurement, construction, commissioning, demonstration and handover. This is from receipt of order but the contractor is to submit his programme along with his methodology detail in the tender return. There must be an allowance for a preconstruction period and a construction period. The construction period cannot commence until all items are procured and all plans are in place for a clear exit to the works.
