BEIS has procured three suppliers to develop Heat Network Optimisation Opportunities in existing (operational) communal heating and district heating projects in England and Wales. This work involves analysis of existing projects where sub-optimal outcomes are being experienced, and will deliver robust business cases to project sponsors where proposals for improvements to existing networks are cost-effective and quantified against agreed performance criteria.
