The Provider will ensure that EHC Plan Writers have appropriate knowledge, skills and training to deliver the contract. This includes an understanding of relevant legislation as it applies to those areas of Education Health and Care Plans and described in the SEN and Disability Code of Practice: 0 to 25 years.
EHC Plan Writers will demonstrate impartiality at all times and the Provider will ensure that assigned EHC Plan Writers will have no conflict of interest in individual cases.
The SPOC from the Local Authority will liaise with the Provider on a weekly basis to allocate cases, both for new plans to be written following EHC Needs Assessment and Amended EHC Plans following annual review.
