Provision of Linen and Laundry Services

Provision of Linen and Laundry Services at the Walton Centre NHS Foundation Trust (Walton Centre Main Site

& Sid Watkins Building). Services required cover:

• Supply of linen;
• Laundering and finishing service;
• Collection and delivery to and from the trust site;
• Maintaining adequate stock levels at all times;
• Provide a collect, wash and return only service for those items detailed as trust owned linen.

The successful provider must ensure that a high quality service is delivered to the Trust 365 days a year and comply with all required legislation relating to laundry and linen services (HTM 01-04 as a minimum).

Laundry services provided must:

• Minimises the risk of Infection;
• Wherever possible reduce the environmental impact and volumes of laundry chemicals used during the process;
• Provide the most economical return for the Trust;
