The works consist of refurbishment of expansion joint to two bridges on Colwick Loop Road in Nottingham, this will require the tenderer to undertake the following;
Arrange Highways Permit and provide single lane closure with two-way traffic signal control (possibly outside normal working hours).
Inspect joint rails, replace elastomeric insert, take up and reinstate verge/kerb joint cover plates.
Saw-cut carriageway surfacing adjacent to joint rails, excavate bituminous material to a depth of 40mm (nominally 1m in width) and re-surface with 'Crack Resistant' asphalt.
