Bath Fashion Museum- Architectural Design Team

B&NES wishes to establish a Contract for the provision of Architectural Design Team services for the new Fashion Museum, Bath.\r

\r

The main strategic objectives of this contract are:\r

• To carry out an initial space planning exercise to establish where best to locate the various requirements of the Brief within the available space\r

• Secure Listed Building and Planning Consents as required for the project\r

• to develop the design through to RIBA 4 for the Fashion Museum, Bath within the available budget and in line with the programme\r

• to work with and coordinate the design with the exhibition design and any other fit out design required\r

• to oversee the construction of the design\r

In order to achieve the aforementioned, B&NES are wishing to procure an Architectural Design team. This will include:\r

• Lead Designer\r

• Architect including production of the conservation management plan and management and maintenance plan for the whole site\r

• Structural Engineer\r

• Services Engineer\r

• Principal Designer\r

• Fire Engineer\r

• Passivhaus Designer (to achieve Enerphit standard)\r

• BIM Manager and Coordinator\r

\r

The team will be required to have experience of carrying out conservation works on listed buildings and with museums.\r

\r

The Council is managing this procurement in accordance with the Public Contracts Regulations.\r

\r

This is a Contract being procured under the Restricted procedure.
