Description

Lewisham Council is seeking a provider to deliver a resettlement support service for refugee families as part of the Home Office's current refugee resettlement schemes.

The service will include, but is not limited to:

Pre-arrival preparation with local services and community groups
Initial reception services for the refugees including "meet and greet" at the airport, a welcome pack and an initial orientation
Orientation services including support to register for local health, education, ESOL and benefits services
Ongoing support over 12 months to integrate service users into the community and to build service users' skills, moving towards independence and step-down
Support for families stepped down through a drop-in centre
