Autoclaves

The University of Plymouth is hoping to purchase a number of autoclaves in the near future and would like to hear from any suppliers that have the ability to supply them. The specifications are as follows:

Benchtop autoclave specification: (two autoclaves required, ideal situation)

40L capacity heater in chamber benchtop autoclave with the following features:

Front loading

Manual water fill

Load sensed process timing

5 program memory or equivalent

Routine programs for these instruments would be 115*C for 10 minutes, 121*C for 15 minutes and 123*C for 3 minutes.

Large autoclave specification: (two autoclaves required, ideal situation)

400L capacity heater in chamber autoclave with the following features:

Front loading

Automatic water fill

Vacuum pump for pre-cycle vacuum

Load sensed process timing

5 program memory or equivalent

Chamber of sufficient size to fit 6 metal discard containers of approximately 260mm H, 510mm W, 330mm D

Loading trolley and shelves to fit above described discard containers

1 additional shelf for trolley to allow extra capacity for small items .

Routine programs for these instruments would be 115*C for 10 minutes, 121*C for 15 minutes, and 126*C for 35 minutes with pre-cycle vacuum.
