PHE_Scientific - Provision of Screw Capper UK NEQAS

PHE Seeks to appoint a provider of Screw Capper for UK NEQAS laboratory in Colindale. The Screw Capper must meet all of the following specifications:

• Bench top (max footprint of 30cm x 30cm)
• Weight: no more than 13kg
• Use of compressed air (5-7bar) to drive capping (semi-automatic)
• Be able to cap glass vials (2ml Schott glass vials: 13mm screw neck and 36mm height)
• Be able to cap screw caps (14mm diameter)
• Vial support pocket for 16mm diameter vial
• Each time a vial or bottle is placed in the bottle grip, the customized capping head automatically goes down and torque the cap. (torque 1-4 Nm)
