Project Overview
Work collaboratively with Ofqual's lead developer to develop new Portal functionality to support the increasing demands from internal and external users.
3. Problem Statement
Over the next couple of years, Ofqual will see a sustained increase level of demand requiring a different way of working. The current spike in public contact has been dealt with by moving substantial numbers of colleagues around the organisation, which is not sustainable and has caused significant disruption and coordination challenges, whilst also being demanding on the staff involved. There are further anticipated spikes of activity likely over at least the next two years as extraordinary regulatory frameworks remain in place due to the impact and tail of COVID-19. "Business at normal volume" is unlikely to return at least for some time.
4. Objectives
Iterate and enhance on portal modules such as external experts, data portal and statement of compliance, which can enable Ofqual users to respond quickly and consistently to demand.
