London Living Wage Consultant for the London Borough of Hounslow

The London Borough of Hounslow requires an experienced Public Sector consultant to conduct engagement activity across a wide range of employers in Hounslow.

Work Hounslow need to be clearer on the barriers faced by employers of all sizes and across all key sectors to understand how we might best work supportively with them moving forward to increase the numbers of those paying London Living Wage, promoting accreditation (with Living Wage Foundation) for those who do.

The consultant will work predominantly with colleagues in the Work Hounslow team as well as those in Economic Regeneration to put together a schedule of employer engagement activity (focus groups, events etc) over a short timeframe, followed by the creation of an Employer Engagement Strategy.

This strategy should;

• Respond to the findings from the initial engagement activity

• Recommend/set out suggested changes to comms and ways of working

• Consider wider corporate strategy in terms of how Employer Engagement activity (in the context of creating skills and employment opportunities in the borough) might be conducted 2023-2027.
