The works comprise the creation of a public launch and recovery facility for unpowered craft, including the following:
⢠Provision of tubular steel pile foundations to structural engineer's details, for dock wall and slipway
⢠Provision of a concrete slipway
⢠Provision of a stepped launch and recovery area
⢠Provision of seating area and a flight of steps
⢠Provision of a Geocell grass seeded access track with raised timber edge
⢠Retention and reprofiling of existing banks, including plastic piling, revetments, rock armouring and grass seeding
⢠Deepening of water adjacent to new slip / dock
