The Digital Neighbourhoods initiative represents a groundbreaking approach to healthcare in the South West region, aiming to transform patient experience and support the healthcare workforce through the strategic use of digital technology and data.â¯â¯This initiative is a part of a broader effort to make the South West one of the most digitally enabled regions in England, catering to its diverse geography including coastal, rural, and older populations.â¯
The SW Digital Neighbourhoods Programme (DNP) are looking to do an evaluation piece with the aim to help drive change as well as a record of the journey and will address the process, impact and economic questions; therefore, this will require a mixed method approach.
The programme will cover a number of areas of impact for health and care systems, and have positive consequence for wider communities.
The evaluation will have four strands:
1. Clinical
2. Technological
3. Financial
4. Relationships and Wellbeing
