The Manchester Metrolink network serves 99 stops along over 100km of track, using a variety of trackforms. A Road-Rail Vehicle (RRV) is required to facilitate the inspection, maintenance and operation of the system.
The Supplier is required to provide Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) (the Client) with a Road Rail Vehicle (RRV) (the Vehicle) suitable for multiple maintenance and operational activities which will be undertaken by Keolis-Amey Metrolink (KAM) (the Operator).
The Supplier is required to simultaneously provide the Client with a mountable/demountable Vertical Lifting Platform (VLP) that fully integrates with the Vehicle and suitable for maintenance activities at height on the network.
