GB-Kettering: Servicing and Maintenance of Air Conditioning and Chiller Units

The servicing and maintenance of refrigeration and air conditioning equipment including:

a)Walk-in cold rooms and catering fridges, mortuary fridges/freezers. Associated alarm systems (from fridge/freezers to indicating panels).

b)Split air conditioning systems, packaged air conditioning systems, compressors and condensers.

c)Management of contract

•Management and supervision of all works carried out by Contractor, including scheduling and organisation of works;

•Risk assessment of Contractor activities, and development, implementation and review of health and safety and safe systems of work;

•Management and upkeep of electronic and hard copy logbooks for Kettering General Hospital NHS Foundation Trust (KGH) buildings and systems;

•Upkeep and updating of operational information;

•Identification of all items of equipment and bar coding (including tracking system);

•Notification to KGH of non-conformities (via routine reports);

•Production of reports, regular and ad hoc (log of quantities that are not achieved);

•Attendance at regular meetings;

Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
