The Provision Of A Support Worker To Domestic Abuse Survivors Who Have Additional Vulnerabilities

Work with a number of people resident in Medway refuges provision or dispersed safe accommodation commissioned by Medway Council or target hardened properties (approximately 15 adults, plus their children, at any one time). Some may not have English as their first language and all will have more complex needs, such as a history or substance misuse or criminal justice system involvement as well as those who may have ongoing mental health issues. The case load will be built up over time, allowing more intensive work with a smaller number of individuals at the outset of the service.
