ADASS Develop and maintain national infrastructure April 22-Oct22

This contract is primarily to fund ADASS' national infrastructure for the first two quarters of 22/23 and enhance their capacity and capability to support DHSC, contributing local and regional intelligence, advice and co-ordination to the department.

The funding here allows for additional capacity in ADASS' national team. This allows for several activities as detailed below.

ADASS will facilitate collaborative working across the adult social care sector, particularly amongst local authorities. ADASS will ensure local authority operations are informed by organisations representing service users and people with lived experience such as CPA, CSA, Confed, NHSE, LGA, NAO, OPG, CQC, LGSCO and others.

Supporting local authorities by providing support to DASSs and running events in local systems, previous examples have included vaccination workshops to support rollout LAs in ensuring vaccine uptake.
