Whitebirk, Shadsworth and Field Lane demolition

To:

• Submit section 80 applications for demolition to the relevant LPA.
• To remove all asbestos from 83 properties on the Whitebirk and Shadsworth estates and 63 garages on the Field Lane estate.
• To demolish, including the grubbing of foundations, 83 properties on the Whitebirk and Shadsworth estates and 63 garages on the Field Lane estate. To leave the site tidy and secure once complete.
• To provide a resident liaison service throughout the period of the works.

Additional information: Together Housing Group are seeking an experienced demolition contractor to carry out the demolition of 83 properties and 63 garages across three existing housing estates in Blackburn and Calderdale as part of place shaping masterplans to regenerate the estates.

Contractors are invited to complete the pre-qualification questionnaire by 5pm on Wednesday 9th August 2023. Between 2-5 successful contractors will be shortlisted and issued with an Invitation to Tender to go live on 21st August 2023. Full details of the tender process and programme are below.
