Creation of a Publicly Available Standard for Responsible Innovation (RI PAS). No such standard currently exists anywhere in the world, so far as we know, which means that companies who want to innovate in a responsible way have no single point of guidance to turn to. This is a particular problem in the case of disruptive emerging technologies, where provision to the market often runs ahead of the regulatory or legislative process.
This project will produce such a document and make it available to innovators. We will track its use and, depending upon the value it adds to companies (and society in practice), will accelerate the path to full BS Standard, or ISO Standard.
