B418 Post Operation Clean Out and Characterisation works

Key activities of the Contractor under the B418 Characterisation and POCO scope of the works include: ⢠The management and execution of the works ⢠The provision of the sampling and analysis plan ⢠The health physics survey of the facility. ⢠The recovery of suitable samples to allow waste characterisation. ⢠The recovery samples to allow building characterisation ⢠The size reduction, segregation and packaging of all waste material ⢠The undertaking of HRGS to all packages, pallets or items moved into B418.19 ⢠The undertaking of HRGS to all samples before dispatch. ⢠The radiological activity and transport calculations required to comply with ADR for the movement of all materials - both on the Premises and for dispatch to laboratory. ⢠The movement too and storage of all packaged items to B418.19 ⢠The transport of all samples to a suitable laboratory for analysis. ⢠The recording, tracking and documentation of the works
