This procurement was awarded following a competitive procurement exercise via the RM3764.3 - Cyber Security Services 3 DPS.
The Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ) is responsible for ensuring that the UK has a resilient energy sector. With the increasing use of cyber as an offensive attack methodology, and an increasing pool of adversaries prepared to employ it, action is required to support the energy sector and protect critical infrastructure.
DESNZ have appointed a supplier to improve threat detection and information sharing across the GB energy sector by establishing an automated threat sharing service that enables faster, more consistent and more secure exchange of machine-readable technical indicators.
