The Department of Health and Social Care ('The Authority') is seeking information on your interest, capability and capacity to provide the services and feedback on The Strategic Public Health and Economic Resource Effectiveness (SPHERE) Modelling Platform.
Decisions in health are complex: the population is large and diverse, individuals will have their own propensity to develop diseases through innate and environmental factors, and the healthcare system responds to and interacts with individuals and their risks.
The Strategic Public Health and Economic Resource Effectiveness (SPHERE) Modelling Platform forecasts individual life events and test interventions or changes in the healthcare system. It aims to provide a robust representation of the healthcare system but also of individuals in the country who interact with this system so that impacts can be accurately estimated, and optimal decisions made.
