The University of Plymouth intends to procure an Asbestos Consultancy Services under a Contract for a duration of 2 years with an extension option of 1 year (maximum of 3 years in total).
The University Asbestos Consultancy Services contract shall ensure compliance with the Regulations 4 of Control Asbestos Regulations 2012 duty to manage asbestos in non-domestic premises. Regulation 4 confirms the need to identify, locate and manage asbestos containing materials (ACM's) in any non-domestic building before year 2000.
In addition to that Asbestos Consultancy Services shall ensure compliance with University Asbestos Code of Practice which can be found in link below:
