Fire Consultant for redevelopment of Burwood House

The provision of Fire Consultancy services at the proposed developments at Burwood House.

The existing building is comprised of an existing basement containing office and parking as retail spaces spanning basement and ground floors. Five stories of offices are present above ground floor, which will be refurbished.

• Initial site analysis of the building existing fire strategy and confirmation of any existing fire-fighting measures and existing escape routes.

• Design input on the building at Design team meetings to allow the Design team to incorporate any new or improved fire-fighting measures.

• Liaison with the appointed Approved Inspector to agree a written Fire Strategy report for the building.

• Clarification for the Design team on Compartmentation requirements both vertically and horizontally for the building and production of comprehensive Fire Strategy drawings for each building (to accompany Fire Strategy Reports).

• Production of Fire statements to accompany planning applications for the building to satisfy the relevant planning policy requirements (if required)
