The Council is looking to notify Contractors of its intention to go to market to procure a contract for the construction of a housing scheme. The project will deliver nine new council homes on a council owned site on Market Street, Goldthorpe. The development area includes the obsolete Goldthorpe market compound and adjacent car park . The build specification is a traditional build method to the Council's low carbon build specification. The specification exceeds the current building regulation requirements for thermal energy efficiency through a fabric first approach. This notice is to make Contractors aware of the opportunity and the procurement and construction timeline the Council is working towards to allow them to prepare their organisation to tender and build.
