he Council wishes to procure the following the following work:

Objectives

Deliver a revitalised Kendal Market Hall that meets the following objectives:

Create a destination that attracts people back into the town centre and Market Hall, increasing footfall, dwell time, and repeat visits.
Strengthen the town's identity and support increased local pride.
Deliver a high-quality, attractive, and diverse Market Hall that supports local businesses, serves residents, and appeals to visitors.
Enhance the cultural offer by providing suitable and flexible space for events and activities.
Improve connectivity between the indoor Market Hall and the outdoor Market Place to create a seamless flow of footfall and a complementary market offer.
Support the aspirations of the Kendal Vision, championing the town centre, improving placemaking and fostering a stronger sense of community
