Somerset NHS Foundation Trust is issuing this invitation to tender in connection with the competitive procurement of the provision taxi services at Somerset NHS Foundation Trust.
The aims and objectives of this service is to provide a sustainable taxi and courier service for the conveyance of patients, wheelchair patients and children who are eligible for hospital transport, together with staff, and light goods for both routine and ad hoc requirements. Taxis shall be available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The charge for the journey must be from pick up point to drop off point only and be via the most direct route.
