Reality Emulator Sub Systems x 5 Tenders - Updated

The Reality Emulator is composed of four equipment sub systems, integrated through an integration, management and monitoring layer:

• Immersive Sub System: provides interactive multi-user virtual and augmented reality experiences.
• Data Sub System: ingests and outputs media and data feeds, performs batch and real-time data processing, supplies, and stores archived data.
• Compute Sub System: executes models of real-world phenomena on a mixture of CPU, GPU and programmable hardware.
• Network Sub System: a programmable substrate for communications within the RE on the University of Bristol sites and to and from remote hubs and mobile devices.

There will also be a Management and Monitoring and Integration Sub System & integration partner: the unified integration of all Sub Systems that constitute the Reality Emulator enabling a single 'pane of glass' for monitoring and managing the RE as a whole Service.

This advert covers the 5 tender opportunities which are available to Suppliers.

Immersive Sub System - £1.5m

Data Sub System - £337,500

Network System - £ 1.2m

Compute Sub System - £860,000

Management, Monitoring, and Integration Sub System - £800,000
