The Authority is seeking to recruit the services of a contractor to provide a personalised money management and advice service which helps people to acquire and/or maintain tenure, and which delivers support and practical solutions relating to their circumstances, including debts. The overarching purpose of the initiative will be to help mitigate the negative impacts on the housing market of the Hinkley Point C (HPC) workforce, by equipping local people with money and debt solutions to make them more attractive to landlords, able to maintain tenure for a longer term, and less vulnerable to homelessness.
