A new service for Sensory Assessments and Support for CYP with SEND.
Requests will come from the Council's Inclusion team to secure Sensory Assessments and Support as part of the Education Health and Social Care Needs Assessment.
The expected outcomes are:
⢠Assessments and supporting interventions undertaken
⢠Reduce the number of Tribunals where therapies (SALT, OT) is deciding factor.
⢠Reduce the number and cost of OOA high cost placements.
⢠Reduce the number of complaints from parent and carers.
