Expressions of interest are sought to deliver an evaluation of T Level Professional Development (TLPD) Phase 2.
TLPD is a programme of high quality Continuous Professional Development (CPD) designed to prepare technical teachers, trainers, managers and leaders in Further Education (FE) for the introduction and successful delivery of T Levels.
TLPD is being delivered in two phases. Phase 1 runs to March 2020 and Phase 2 will run from April 2020. Fifty FE providers are delivering the first T Levels from September 2020 and approximately sixty more have been approved to deliver from September 2021. It is these providers that TLPD is primarily, but not exclusively, aimed at during 2020 and 2021. These are a mix of general FE colleges, sixth form colleges and other types of providers. This evaluation is focussed on TLPD Phase 2.
The evaluation will use Management Information (MI) provided by the delivery partner for TLPD, alongside qualitative and quantitative data to assess if the programme meets its expected outcomes.

As the ITT will be issued during purdah, there may be some minor alterations to the commissioning timetable, though this will not change the expected delivery of the work. There is also an increased risk that the project is cancelled at short notice.
