Aurora has been providing support and care to cancer patients across Doncaster and Bassetlaw for over 20 years. The Covid pandemic has emphasised the bewilderment and isolation that so many cancer patients suffer from the earliest signs of their disease. Aurora have deep understanding of the challenges faced by the disease; the proposal builds on the belief that supporting and empowering patients in the community puts the patient at the centre of their care. Part of the NHS personalisation agenda. The contract needs to be awarded urgently to deal with the immediate situation due to Covid.
