Provision of an Alternative Education Service for students subject of an Education Health and Care Plan
The current contract for the delivery of the Alternative Education Service for students subject of an Education, Health and Care Plan in Sandwell ends on 31 July 2021.
The Council is seeking to identify a suitable agency to operate the Alternative Education Service within the Borough from 1 September 2021.
The aim of the Service is to support students who are subject of an Education, Health and Care Plan with a well-supported and nurturing environment to deliver therapeutic interventions. Students may not be attending full-time provision and will need to be supported to help reintegrate them into full-time provision following a period of therapeutic intervention.
Further details of the service required are detailed in the specification in this document.
The contract is for a 2 year period from 1 September 2021 to 31 July 2023 with the option to extend for 2 further 12 month periods subject to provision of budget.
The maximum budget for the delivery of the service is £40,000 per annum. Tenders received in excess of this will not be considered.
