Milton Keynes Council Bus Shelter Supply and Maintenance Soft Market Testing

Milton Keynes Council is seeking expressions of interest from companies who are able to offer bus shelter supply and maintain contracts.

The Council would seek to include some element of advertising, including digital advertising, as well as green (planted) and solar roofing options. We would be seeking high quality purpose built bus shelters that could offer static and digital information displays dependant on the local situation. Shelters would need to be able to reuse existing Real time information panels where present. At present Milton Keynes has approximately 1000 stops with around 500 shelters. We would be seeking to retain this level of coverage. Some stops would have enhanced infrastructure which might include integrated cycle parking and other innovations.
