Disabled adaption to OCC property

You are bidding to act as Principal Designer on behalf of Oxford City Council for the disabled adaption to a property.

The project will involve creation of a single story rear extension to be used as a bedroom with Ensuite wet room.

Applications submitted should include costings for managing the project through RIBA Stage 1 to 6 and will include specifically

• Schematic drawings based on project description and detailed specification supplied by Occupational therapists on site for discussion and agreement,

• Include in your costings specialist designs from architects and mechanical and electrical consultants in line with the project brief, unforeseen consultants will be commissioned if needed

• coordinate consultants design information prepare technical drawings submit building control and planning applications

• prepare schedule of works document suitable for pricing and construction

• advise on appropriate from of building contract between OCC (the employer) and the contractor and clearly define roles an reasonability's

• Review ODS (building contractor) pricing if required

• Carry out site management of contractors throughout project

• Arrange and monitor any snagging issues with the contractor highlighted after completion

• Provide a handover to OCC upon completion of the project
