Foster Carer Recruitment - My Family Group CIC

This service of foster carer recruitment is required in order to increase the number of foster carers in Hampshire County Council Children's Services and contribute to £4.7m of cost avoidance for the Saving Programme 2023.

The purpose of this service is to recruit and produce fostering leads from the Black, Asian and Ethnic Minority and Muslim community in Hampshire to support Hampshire County Council (Fostering Hampshire Children) to increase their capacity of foster carers. Part of this objective will be to strengthen the positive relationships between Hampshire County Council (Fostering Hampshire Children) and these communities and build trust and confidence through a community engagement approach.

This niche activity of training for Hampshire County Council's staff, support for the staff, marketing to Muslim community and ethnic minority groups through the supplier, My Family Group CIC 's social media platforms/brand, recruitment activity and lead generation is delivered through years of relationship building and experience of working within the Muslim community and ethnic minority groups.

Therefore, a direct award to My Family Group CIC would be appropriate in this circumstance, where there are no other suitable suppliers that can offer the services required with the relevant experience as listed above and with a team of people to support.
