Project 1736 - Design and Build of Inner Head New Build Cafe at Southend Pier

Southend on Sea Borough Council are seeking tenders from suitably qualified contractors to carry out the construction of a new build café to be located on the Pier Inner Head at the sea end of the Pier. The new standalone building will provide indoor seating, servery, scullery, storage, covered canopy seating area on the ground floor, complete with a stepped terraced seating and an internal lift leading to an open roof terrace at the upper level.

The contract will be let under JCT 2016 Design and Build with Employers Requirements, drawings, contract sum analysis, building specification, mechanical and electrical specification. The contractor will be expected to complete the detailed design of RIBA Stages 4 to 7.
