Royal Berkshire Fire Authority (RBFA) is consolidating Hard FM contracts such as Heating and Ventilation (HVAC), Electrical Maintenance and Building Maintenance, Appliance Bay Door, Life Services into a single source contract.
The Authority currently has disaggregated these contracts into separate contracts with different suppliers with different contract terms. The disaggregation of the contract requires the Authority to expend a lot of human resource and time to procure these services which the Authority is planning to minimise with the aggregation of contracts into Hard FM and Soft FM.
