Everybody Active Every Day Physical Activity Framework- development for the 2020's: defining the priorities for national action to enable local delivery.
Public Health England (PHE) is seeking to commission an external partner to support the development of EAED and to scope out the priority actions for physical activity, in particular when it comes to supporting levelling up in the Office of Health Promotion. This will include:
1. Assess the findings from 'A Review of Everybody Active Every Day - Five Years on' (EAED) with the purpose of identifying which of the outlined opportunities, are the most appropriate in tackling inequalities in physical activity at national and local level, as well as highlighting any emerging opportunities.
2. Determine the continued significance of the four domains outlined within EAED in providing a physical activity framework for the UK, identifying any additional areas for consideration.
3. Scope, co-develop and test a set of principles to underpin this framework for action; helping to influence and identify national priorities for physical activity moving forward.
