GB-Bath: University of Bath School of Management Level Five Fit-Out Works

The School of Management is a new building constructed on the existing University of Bath Campus. The School of Management is a flexible 21st century learning and research environment which incorporates the following:

-Student Entrepreneurship Lab

-Employment Hub

-Eat, Work and Play areas

-Behavioural Research Lab

-Innovation Lab

-Several lecture theatres and a 250 seat Conference Auditorium

However, as part of the main build level five was shell and core only. Due to the demand in services, the School of Management now requires that level five is fitted out to provide additional teaching and office space.

The works for this project consist of, but are not limited to:

• Minor strip out works of temporary flooring and services
• Adjustments to existing façade
• Internal partitions and doors
• Internal finishes
• Fittings, furnishings and equipment
• Mechanical & Electrical installations and upgrades

Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
