Service and Maintenance of Cremators and Abatement System
Swindon Borough Council invites expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced service providers for the provision of Service and Maintenance of the Cremators and Abatement System at Kingsdown Crematorium in line with with current legislation, including guidance note 5/2 Statutory Guidance for Crematoria
The initial contract term will be for 6 years with an option to extend for a further 5 years + 2 years 10 months for a potential total contract term of 13 years 10 months as stated in the ITT documents. Estimated contract spend is between £520,000 and £540,000 across the initial 6 year contract term, £950,000 and £990,000 across the potential 11 year contract term and between £1,200,000 and £1,245,000 across the potential total 13 year 10 month contract term.

To participate, Suppliers will need to Register as a Supplier with ProContract, www.supplyingthesouthwest.org.uk, then Register an Interest before obtaining access to the tender documents. Tender clarifications to be submitted in writing via Messaging in ProContract tender portal by 30th May 2022, 15:00 hrs UK Local time. The Council's responses to these clarification questions will be issued periodically on the ProContract tender portal.
