Canterbury city centre is a Conservation Area and an Area of Archaeological Importance. In addition, a number of the proposed sites form or contain Scheduled Monuments, Listed Parks & Gardens and Listed Buildings. Some locations are also former church yards or on the site of former churches. Some of the sites also form or are in close proximity to UNESCO World Heritage Sites. \r

Canterbury City Council therefore requires the input of a suitably qualified archaeologist at various stages and various sites across the project. There is no guarantee of work it is a capped estimate
