The quantum technology transfer centre at the University of Birmingham, as part of the quantum hub for metrology and sensors, has contracted for a hydrogen maser:

⢠Integrated battery power supply able to power the unit for greater than 12 hours in the event of mains power failure

⢠Remote monitoring via platform agnostic computer interface.
