Milton Keynes City Council is preparing its New City Plan to replace the existing local plan, Plan:MK. The New City Plan will provide for growth up to 2050, helping to deliver the Council's adopted Strategy for 2050 which sets out a strategic vision for the growth of the city to a population of around 410,000 by 2050.
To inform the preparation of the New City Plan, the Council is undertaking a range of background evidence studies. This market testing brief is intended to describe the Council's proposals for one of those, in order to aid the development a final specification and scope of works.
